Rouvalis Flowers in Beacon Hill
One of the things I love most about Rouvalis Flowers in Beacon Hill is how much it reminds me of a European flower shop. Tucked on one of the most scenic corners of the neighborhood, it’s always a nice surprise to see its ever-changing colorful flowers and plants displayed outside its charming storefront. Step inside and the scent of fresh, exotic flowers is literally breathtaking.
Back in 1897, it was the neighborhood butcher shop. The original meat refrigerator is now filled with gorgeous flowers imported from the Netherlands, New Zealand, South Africa, and South America. The original copper ceiling was preserved and restored to a silver finish. By far, it’s my favorite flower shop in Boston.
Rouvalis Flower Shop is one of the stops on the 2-hour Highlights of Boston tour and the 90-minute Beacon Hill tour.
