Back Bay + Charles River Esplanade
Explore Boston from a different angle on a PhotoWalks tour!
Join us on a 2-hour photo walking tour of Boston as we explore Back Bay and the Charles River Esplanade. Starting off in Copley Square, you’ll learn how to take architectural pictures from interesting perspectives of the city’s most iconic buildings.
Discover the charm of Back Bay’s 19th-century residential area as we make our way towards the Charles River Esplanade, Boston’s famous park. Endless photo ops await: the Storrow Lagoon with Back Bay’s cityscape, colorful sailboats drifting along the river, panoramic views of Cambridge’s skyline and its famous universities and lots more.
PhotoWalks founder Saba Alhadi, a professional local photographer and tour guide, will inspire you to learn how to see creatively and provide photography tips and tricks. History and architecture buffs will enjoy the historical commentary during our walking tour.
Learn how to:
- Practice new photography techniques with your camera or smartphone
- Increase your architectural photography skills
- Position yourself to get the best angles to shoot from for panoramic images
All ages and skill levels are welcome. Advance reservations required. (*Please note the same price applies for non-photographers since the experience is also a historical walking tour with commentary.)
